Paris and her sister found themselves at OC Animal Care after being confiscated as part of an investigation. They waited, together, at the shelter until the authorities finished their investigation, and they were made available for adoption.

Both attended OC Animal Care’s Petapalooza adoption event, where they sought potential adopters. Imagine Paris’ surprise when her sister was chosen by a family, but left her behind! Paris was heartbroken; as was our founder, April, who couldn’t bear to see Paris go back to the shelter alone. April waited patiently until the end of the event, hoping for a family to come along; when none did, she took Paris home, determined to find her a loving home.

A few days later, April took Paris along to a Chamber of Commerce event, where a woman saw her and fell instantly in love. Paris was introduced to the rest of the family, including their children and other dog, and they were a perfect match. The missing piece to their family’s puzzle had been found. And Paris was connected with a loving family for life.
